Medical Assistant with Ob/Gyn experience

Fertility Specialists of Houston is seeking a Medical Assistant with Ob/Gyn experience. The MA will assist physician in exam rooms, take vital signs, answer phones, stock rooms, call in prescriptions and lab results and assist in any capacity needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program
  • Must have at least 2 years OB/GYN experience
  • Must have flexibility regarding hours
  • Must be professional, courteous and customer service oriented
  • Infertility experience a plus

Full-time Ultrasound Technologist

Full-time Ultrasound Technologists needed for the OGA Breast & Imaging Center. The Tech will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound scans precsribed by the established protocols and record intrerpretable diagnostic information to the medical staff.

The qualified applicant must possess excellent communication skills, a great attitude and professionalism with patients and co-workers. Current registration of ARDMS in OB, ABD required. We prefer Nuchal Translucency certificaiton and 5 years experience with OB/GYN.

Database Analyst

OGA Healthcare Solutions, LLC is adding a Data Analyst position to our MSO. This position is responsible for ongoing development, analysis and presentation of healthcare information pertaining to medical operations, financial and demographic data. The position includes the development and preparation of ad hoc reports as well as scheduled weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for managment, staff and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Preparation of custom reports for decision-makers; support needs of healthcare clients. Identify and initiate complex informational and statistical reports for standard management reporting, compensation analysis, or ad hoc requests in support of users, business management, executive team and clients. This will require becoming familiar with the opertions and workflows of the businesses to interpret and analyze informational requests. Must analyze data and information from conceptualization through presentation.Will also utilize analytical tools/software in performing daily report generation and analysis. Ensure that routine monthly or periodic custom reports and data files are prepared and distributed to the appropriate users at the scheduled times. Become familiar and fluent with the content, structure, and schemas of the database used for the practice management and elcetronic medical records systems. Work with users to develop data extractions that meet their needs. Prepare model reports and refine them with user input. Apply quality control checks to ensure completeness and accuracy of data in the reports. Analyze data results through investigation, analysis and evaluation. Provide insight to users and business management on trends identified in data. Leverage all tools available to complete complex tasks. Ensure validity of databases by identifying areas of concern with various databases and systems. Solve complex logic problems. Discover and prove causal data relationships. Communicate data and analysis effectively with all end users and assist in the determination of future data needs. Work effectively in an individual role or as part of a team. Adhere to the principles of confidentiality and comply with all mandated training.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have 3 or more years experience with relational database systems with proficiency in SQL and database tools, including data reporting tools such as Crystal Reports and Cognos. Excellent communication skills are a must! A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is desired.

Human Resources Generalist

OGA Healthcare Solutions is a healthcare management service organization dedicated to providing the highest quality services to ob/gyn specialty practices in Houston. We are hiring a HR Generalist to add to our growing staff to ensure that the accounts of our clients reflect, at any point in time, the true and accurate financial position of the companies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and/or personnel related information and documentation
  • Administer, process, and maintain company benefit programs, including Cobra and FMLA, through website portals
  • Work with insurance broker to investigate benefit claims and update employees on resolutions
  • Administer Flex Spending Accounts, Life and AD&D insurance, Short/Long Term disability claims processing
  • Assist payroll department with payroll/HR issues using Paychex system
  • Handle Open Enrollment functions for multiple office locations in Houston that include coordinating meetings and facilitating event
  • Reconcile all company monthly benefits for payment
  • Provide support in HR dept., including personnel records, employee relations, recruiting, new hire orientation, training and compliance testing
  • Assist with the development of job descriptions and compensation programs
  • Assist with the performance appraisal process and facilitate the review system for the supervisors

Qualifications:

  • Exhibits good organizational skills
  • Must be highly detailed oriented
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills

Experience:

  • 5+ years in a progressive HR office

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable)
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
